Carp Garden Services endeavours to fulfill all outdoor space requirements. No project is too small, nor too large. We expertly carry out projects which range from simple weeding jobs, to expert pruning, shrub and tree removal, garden designs and planting, fall leaf removal and even projects which are less horticultural, such as grading and levelling, as well as installation of Riverstone and Peastone.
Our geographical area spans from the West End of Ottawa, to Kanata, Stittsville, Dunrobin, Almonte, Pakenham and Kinburn.

About The Team

Tim Dyer began his horticultural career with ownership of a large field nursery and greenhouse operation near Carleton Place. This operation involved growing at least one million tree seedlings, as well as many thousands of perennials, shrubs and annuals.
Tim then started Carp Garden Centre and Carp Garden Services in 2011. After some time, operating both the garden centre and the horticultural landscaping business became too time-consuming. The garden centre business was then sold and the garden services aspect was retained.
Tim’s qualifications and other credentials include successfully completing many horticultural courses, along with presenting to students at the Algonquin College Horticultural Industries Programme. He also served, on a volunteer basis, as President of the Ottawa Chapter of Landscape Ontario (trade association) for two years, and served on their Board of Directors for several years before and after that. Tim also was a pivotal figure in initiating the concept of a botanical garden in Ottawa.
Carp Garden Services now has approximately 180 regular garden maintenance customers and usually undertakes about 90 one-time design or restoration projects each year.
As Tim begins to enter retirement, Hannah Schofield takes over as General Manager and Dylan Martin moves into garden design and project management.
